What does C.H.O.P.S. stand for? Changing Homosexuals into Ordinary People (why the “s”? No idead)

Yes, yes. There’s an acutal site dedicated to the cause. It’s called “Love God’s Way”. Hahahaha. Sorry. I can’t keep a straight face. This is too fuckin funny. Okay, let’s try this again.

On that site, there’s a list of bands “to watch out for”. And I quote:
“One of the most dangerous ways homosexuality invades family life is through popular music. Parents should keep careful watch over their children’s listening habits, especially in this Internet Age of MP3 piracy.”

So beware people. Some of these bands I didn’t even suspect were gay. Like Elton John. According to this website, he deserves to be on the list twice. Once, and then the second time clarifying into brackets the fact that he is “really gay”.

The list also includes Arcade Fire (why the hell not?), Frank Sinatra, Lil’ Kim, Ted Nugent, Eminmen (no, it’s not my typo), Nirvana (that’s why so many people are gay. Blame it all on the Nirvana), George Michael (and it says in brackets “texan”), Richard Cheese, Metallica, The Strokes, Queen, Phish, Marilyn Manson (dark gay), The Grateful Dead…and that’s only to name a few.

I can’t believe they don’t name Michael Jackson.

So basically, if you ever turned on a radio in your life, be on the lookout. You’ve already got one foot in the grave. But don’t worry. According to these people you can be reformed. Oscar Wilde was reformed.

And I quote again: “You are not alone and guess what, God Loves You even if he hates your Homosexuality. You just can’t stay that way. Let me help you love yourself. Follow me and together we’ll C.H.O.P.S away the Gay.”

the other day. I was watching the finale of Six Feet Under. Cried like a baby.

songs that remind me of my childhood tend to make me cry. I don’t know why and I can’t control it. It’s the weirdest thing.
